Eva & Sungju were married the last weekend of December at a beautiful Zingerman’s Cornman Farms wedding! The fog was thick in the morning when I arrived at the Zingerman’s Cornman Farms farmhouse and rain was drizzling on and off. Despite the weather, Eva was as happy as can be as she got her hair & make-up done! She is one of four girls and I loved the moment when her sisters all helped her get her exquisite, fully beaded wedding gown on and helped her with her cape before her mom stepped in to fluff it out & put the finishing touches on her!! Sungju has such a happy personality and he and Eva were so adorable together when we took portraits in front of the beautiful white house at Cornman Farms! The rain had thankfully all but stopped and I’m just in love with the photos we were able to capture of the two of them, especially the ones that show off Eva’s epic bridal cape!!! You guys all know how much I love Cathedral length veils, but let me tell you, long, flowing bridal capes may be one of my new favorite things!!!
Eva’s grandfather married her & Sungju with a beautiful ceremony inside Cornman Farms! He became ordained just for their wedding and it was so cute witnessing him up there marrying his granddaughter!! After the ceremony guests mingled at cocktail hour before taking their seats for toasts!! The room was full of laughter, especially when Sungju hilariously translated everyone’s speeches for & from his family & friends that came from Asia, and tears, when Eva’s Maid of Honor gave her heartfelt speech! Dinner was catered by Zingerman’s own, Miss Kim, and it was the most delicious Korean food I’ve ever had!! After dinner was done, everyone hit the dance floor to party the night away!!
Eva & Sungju, thank you so much for trusting me to capture the story of your day!!! I hope you & love and cherish these photos for the years to come!!! Wishing you two all of the happiness in the world! Much love, Jen. xx
