From the first moment I met Megan and Joe, I knew how special their Lovett Hall wedding was going to be! They were married just a few days after Christmas and all of their friends and family showed up to watch them become husband and wife! What better way to make the holidays even more festive than by throwing an elegant Christmas wedding into the mix!!
The morning started at Megan’s mom’s house which was beautifully decorated for Christmas!! When I walked inside I was greeted by Megan’s stunning ivory wedding dress hanging next to a sparkly tree and it may just be my new favorite thing! After her mom and Maid of Honor helped her get into her dress, we did a quick first look with her dad (always one of my favorite moments of the day) before heading over to the church where Joe was waiting for her. They were married at Divine Child (fun fact, I used to go to school there!!) and as they said their vows, they were flanked by two sparkling trees that just added to the romantic ambience of the day!!
After photos inside the Henry Ford Museum, including their beautiful blue staircase decked out in Christmas decorations and all of the evergreen & holly, the party got started at Lovett Hall! A string quartet entertained guests during cocktail hour & Bluewater Kings Band had the dance floor packed all night long!
Megan & Joe, it has been so wonderful getting to know you both over the last year! You have been such a pleasure to work with and I’m so honored that you chose me to tell the story of your day! Wishing you both a wonderful life together! Much love, Jen. xx
