I still remember the first time I met Laura & Paul in a coffee shop and they told me all about their love story. They were best friends through the first three years of high school, and by senior year, that turned into high school sweethearts! They dated all throughout college and last summer, Paul got down on one knee at the top of Machu Picchu in Peru and asked Laura to spend her life with him. The start of that life together was a little over a week ago and it was an honor to document their love on their wedding day.
After Laura & her girls got their hair & make-up done the morning of the wedding and Laura’s mom helped her slip into her stunning lace Maggie Sottero dress from Bellisima Bridal Salon, she headed down the path behind Cherry Creek to where Paul was waiting to see her for the first time. Their first look was one of my favorite moments on their wedding day. As soon as Laura called Paul’s name and he turned around, they both started crying. It was such a beautiful moment and something special that they were able to share between just the two of them before they were married in front of all their guests. After finishing up portraits with their bridal party, the violinist began playing and Laura’s dad walked her down the aisle to where Paul was waiting for her under the beautiful wedding arbor adorned with stunning florals from Viviano Flower Shop. More tears were shed during their vows and the smiles on their faces as they walked back down the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife showed how excited these two were to finally be married and to spend their life together!
At the reception, Paul’s dad gave the sweetest speech and once again had everyone in tears listening to him talk about his son and his new wife. After the first dance, Paul’s dad tore up the dance floor & kept the party going with his awesome moves ad the bride & groom mingled with their guests!
Laura & Paul, I’ve enjoyed getting to know you both over the past year and I’m so honored that you picked me to capture this very special day for you. I hope you love and cherish your wedding photographs for decades to come and that every time you look back at them, you’re reminded of how you felt on your wedding day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness! All the love, Jen. xx
