Sheetal & Sanjay were married a few weeks ago at Kasi Sri Viswanatha Temple, a beautiful Hindu temple in Flint, MI. From the road, all you see is a sign, but once you turn in and drive a bit, you see this stunning white temple with elephant statues in front of it! I kept joking that I felt like we were in Bali and not just outside metro Detroit! Sheetal and Sanjay had an intimate weeding ceremony there surrounded by a handful of close family and friends! After the ceremony, they exchanged flower garlands, the varmala, which is such a cool tradition at Indian weddings! This was the second Indian wedding I’ve photographed (see the first one here) and I just love all of the traditions! I have one more in October of this year and I cannot wait! Once the garlands were exchanged, we ventured around the grounds for photos before they headed out to an intimate dinner with their family and friends to close out their wedding day! Sheetal and Sanjay, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding! Hope you love the photos! xo, Jen
