Penny is one of those people who light up a room. She has a big smile and an even bigger bubbly personality. She was constantly making sure everyone else was feeling comfortable and happy on her wedding day and she was just so excited to walk down the aisle with her dad and marry Jason. Speaking of her dad, he and Penny shared the sweetest first look once her Maid of Honor got her zipped into her dress. Her dad was adorable and after giving Penny a hug, he waited patiently in the shade as we took a few bridesmaid photos before accompanying his daughter to Michigan State’s Alumni Chapel where the ceremony was taking place.
Once they arrived at the church, Penny’s darling flower girls held her veil as she walked up the steps so it wouldn’t get dirty before she went down the aisle. Once the rings were exchanged and they were pronounced husband and wife, Penny & Jason exited the church to their guests throwing rose petals while the ring bearer and flower girls rang the steeple bell, an old wedding tradition at the chapel. After portraits on Michigan State’s campus, the party continued on at the English Inn where a delicious dinner was served to their guests before the dancing began.
Penny and Jason, your wedding was truly beautiful, emotional and memorable in every way! Thank you for trusting me to tell your story and being such a joy to work with! I hope you love and cherish these photographs for the rest of your life together. Much love, Jen. xx
