We had the most beautiful glowy sunset light for Meghan & Brendan’s engagement photos recently! The area where we took them gave me major Parisian engagement photo vibes: the color of the stone, the architecture style of the curved building with the top floor window bump outs, the street lights, the warm sunset light & the climbing ivy! All of it just perfectly aligned to transport us to Paris for the evening! Meghan wore the prettiest cream lace dress and Brendan wore a sleek navy window pane blazer that complemented the location so nicely!! These two are so adorable together & I loved getting to document this special time in their lives!! When they first started dating, Brendan gave Meghan a heart ring with her first initial on it & when he proposed, he gave her another heart ring that had her new last name initial on it before he got down on one knee and slid her engagement ring on her finger!! The best part is he bought both of them at the same time… he knew from the start he was going to marry her!! Such a romantic gesture!! The photo of Brendan tipping her back a bit & both of them laughing is my all-time favorite from their session – it reminds me of a perfume editorial in a magazine! Very city, very chic, very Parisian with the streetlamp in the back & the curved building behind them!! We also stopped by the Starbucks where they had their first date & where Brendan proposed to capture a few images of them at that special place!! These two are getting married at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club next December and I can’t wait to celebrate with them!!
