Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Rachel is one of those people with a smile that lights up the room. She was so smiley and so fun loving with Peter at their Belle Isle engagement session and it shone through in their photos! Lisa and Gerid first met at University of Michigan (Yay! Go Blue!) during their freshman year of college. A year later, they ran into each other again and it just clicked. They dated throughout college and last year, Gerid took Lisa to Chicago to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a promise that they were picking up a puppy there.
I had so much fun with sweet Estelle a few weeks ago at her senior session! Her family moved here from France a few years ago and we had so much fun wandering around Belle Isle in Detroit taking photos, talking about French shopping, the Colorado road trip she just went on and her summer lifeguarding job!
The morning started with Angela and her bridesmaids getting ready at The Henry in Dearborn, MI. Angela, along with most of her bridesmaids, flew into town from Oregon to celebrate her big day with her at Addison Oaks Buhl Estates in Leonard, MI.
Oh my goodness, where do I even start with this wedding?! Brittani and Tim’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived at Brittani’s Maid of Honor’s house to photograph the girls getting ready, I was instantly welcomed into their group, despite being a Michigander (and Michigan alum) in Ohio!
Is there anything better in the Summer than a country music festival? After going to Tortuga Music Festival last April on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL with my friend Maria, I was dying to get to Faster Horses Festival out at MIS in Brooklyn.
