Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Happy Friday friends!! It’s time for one of my favorite posts of the year… BEST OF WEDDINGS! I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day (and I mean, it took the ENTIRE day) yesterday going back through all of my weddings from the year & reliving each day with my wonderful couples!
When Taylor first emailed me about photographing her and Chad’s wedding, she wrote me the sweetest note saying, “Our love is a classic one,” and I couldn’t agree more. These two are the definition of classic elegance. I mean, look at Taylor’s dress!!
Happy Friday friends! You’re in luck today, because there’s a DOUBLE DOSE of pretty on my blog! Sagar & Emily had not one, but TWO, Dearborn Inn weddings on their wedding day! Sagar is Indian, so he wanted to have a traditional Indian wedding ceremony and Emily grew up dreaming about wearing a beautiful white dress as she walked down the aisle at her wedding.
Becca and Danny grew up going to the same small lake every summer with their families but never knew each other. It wasn’t until later when they met in their hometown that they discovered they both went up there often and were going to be there again at the same time!
When two Michigan alums fall in love and plan a wedding on campus at the University of Michigan Museum of Art in Ann Arbor, you know it’s going to be a GOOD day! ?? There’s just something about being back at the place where I spent four of the best years of my life, with a couple who also went there and gets why this place is so special, that I love so much!
If I had to describe Laura and Curtis as a couple, the first word that comes to mind is fun! Laura has such a bubbly personality and it just shone through in all of their photos! These two were so happy and easy going during their engagement session and we had an absolute blast wandering around Detroit together!
