Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Honora and Mac first met when their families were neighbors. Honora was 3 and Mac was 8. Their parents became fast friends and their families vacationed together. Mac had moved to Chicago and when Honora moved out there after she graduated from Michigan, her mom kept suggesting to her that she should meet up with Mac since he lived there too.
Katie & Nate met in high school. Katie had her eye on Nate, and from the moment she got his number and they started talking, she was smitten! From high school, college at Central Michigan and moving to Arizona, the one thing that remained constant was each other!
The forecast said it was only supposed to be cloudy, but as I was driving to meet up with Katlyn & Jake for their engagement session, it started to sprinkle. Despite the change of weather, they decided to brave the rain and continue on with their planned engagement session!
I arrived at Caitlin’s hotel room in Downtown Ann Arbor on the morning of her wedding at 6:30 AM and she was just as bright and chipper as ever! Caitlin has an infectious laugh and smile and is one of those people who lights up any room she walks into!
Lindsey & Rob met during welcome week at Western Michigan University when Rob was on the move in crew and helped move Lindsey into her dorm. Rob caught Lindsey’s eye and eventually they started dating. They went on vacation last August and Rob proposed to Lindsey on a hike with friends.
Chris and Nicole knew each other for the longest time before they started dating. Their parents were good friends and their families would often vacation together. Nicole always had her eye on Chris, but he always had a girlfriend. They both ended up single at the same time and Chris’s family made sure to let him know that this was his chance with Nicole if he was interested in seeing where things could go with her.
