Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Oh my gosh you guys, Carrie knocked her senior session out of the park! It was a freezing cold day in May when Carie and I met up on Belle Isle for her senior session (I was legit wearing my Winter coat) and you would never know it by looking at her photos!
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom a few weekends ago on Belle Isle when I met up with Chelsea and Kevin for their engagement session. They provided such a beautiful background and set the stage for some romantic and elegant engagement photos.
Izzy & Drew were married in Downtown Detroit on a beautiful sunshine filled day! Izzy wore the most beautiful champagne colored tulle ballgown from Carolina Herrera that was adorned with gold beading and a matching gold beaded cathedral length veil. The veil was a gift from Drew and looked so stunning on her.
I had so much fun adventuring around the streets of Detroit with Isabelle & Andrew. It was raining sideways right before our session but thankfully the rain stopped just in time to get some amazing photographs! Isabelle loves my portraits downtown in the streets with the city as the backdrop and I was so excited to be able to create some for her and Andrew!!
I met up with Leigh & Blake at the start of October for their Detroit engagement photos!!! Leigh lives in Detroit and picked out two incredible locations for photos: the coolest rooftop with incredible views of the city as the sun set and the beautiful architecture of the Belle Isle Conservatory for the first spot!
You guys, we had the PRETTIEST sunset light for Sara & Mitchell’s Detroit engagement session a few weeks ago! It was golden & glowy and made them sparkle in the photos we took of them on a Detroit rooftop!! Sara & Mitchell are so sweet together & you could tell how in love they were each time they interacted!
