Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Robin & Jeff met one night in Dearborn. Robin’s friend was in town and brought her along to a bar on Michigan Ave. As they were sitting there, Jeff came up and started talking to Robin. He was nice and kind and Robin liked that he cared about what she had to say and actually listened to her as she talked.
Owen calls Nicolle his angel. In the note he had delivered to her the morning of the wedding, he expressed his deep love and admiration for the incredible women he now gets to call his wife in the sweetest of words that had Nicolle’s mom & her bridesmaids wiping away their eyes as she read it aloud after getting into her dress.

Happy Friday friends!! It’s time for one of my favorite posts of the year… BEST OF WEDDINGS! I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day (and I mean, it took the ENTIRE day) yesterday going back through all of my weddings from the year & reliving each day with my wonderful couples!
Last year was one for the books!! 2017 was by far my best year yet for my business! It was my first full year of running my business full-time, instead of during lunch breaks, after work & on Sundays. It was amazing and fun and also, a ton of hard work.
