Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Even though this is wedding number 4 of 2019 for me, it’s the one that officially kicks off the 2019 wedding season for me! It’s all weddings, all the time from here on out and I cannot wait!! Monica and Minan’s Lovett Hall wedding was this past Saturday and despite some rain in the morning and early afternoon, the weather cleared up and they had a beautiful day!
I’m so excited to share another winter engagement session on the blog tonight!! I met up with Jessica & Brennon at the end of the year right around the holidays for their Wright & Company engagement session and it was SO GOOD!!!
From the first moment I met Megan and Joe, I knew how special their Lovett Hall wedding was going to be! They were married just a few days after Christmas and all of their friends and family showed up to watch them become husband and wife!
I don’t even know where to start with this wedding! I’ve known Kristina (or Krissy as I still call her ;)) since the 2nd grade when we attended the same catholic grade school. We quickly became best friends and were inseperable growing up.
Courtneay and Josh first met at work. Courtneay had just started a new job and was assigned to shadow Josh her first week. They became fast friends and Courtneay started to develop feelings for him. Josh quickly squashed the idea of dating, yet continued to spend time with Courtneay.
I met up with Kennedy and Dakota recently to take their engagement photos on the Michigan State campus where they both go to school and I love that they picked a place that is special to them! They first met there through a mutual friend and instantly clicked!
