I’m so excited to share this wedding with you all because Mandy is one of my college friends from University of Michigan and I was so excited last year when she asked me if I would be willing to capture her & Andrew’s wedding day!! Mandy & Andrew ended up having to postpone their big June wedding to next year because of COVID concerns, but decided to still get married on their original wedding date surrounded by their immediate family & wedding party! They rented a beautiful Airbnb on the water in Ann Arbor since they currently reside in D.C. and the back lawn served as the ceremony backdrop with the lake in the distance and a peony filled structure adding beautiful floral accents! I arrived early enough to capture the end of Mandy getting ready & the sweetest first look with her Dad before guests took their seat and she walked down the aisle to a waiting Andrew. After the ceremony, Mandy mom surprised them by blowing bubbles as they walked back down the aisle as Mr. & Mrs.! It was such a cute moment and produced one of my favorite photos of the day! Once they were officially married, Andrew popped a bottle of Moet & they said hi to all of their friends & family who were watching the live stream of their ceremony before they shared their first dance as husband & wife and Mandy danced with her dad!
