Laura and Daniel, where do I even begin? Your wedding day was an absolute dream! When I arrived in Downtown Cleveland at the Wyndham where Laura and the girls were getting ready at, I was immediately welcomed into their tribe for the day. They were seriously one of the funniest groups of women and we had too much fun as they were getting ready. Laura’s satin dress was absolutely stunning on her and all of her details were so elegant and classic. And her ring was stunning! The moment her sister’s put her veil on her was one of my favorite moments of the day. That’s the point where it usually gets real and it sinks in that they are really getting married today! Not to mention, the gorgeous cathedral length veil just elevated her wedding dress to another level! I know I say this all the time, but I am obsessed by how classic and elegant veils are! Plus they are so fun to work with! Once the girls were all dressed, we headed out to the Cleveland Museum of Art to meet up with her groom for the first look. There was a beautiful fountain along the cutest paved path where Daniel was standing waiting for his bride to walk up and say hello. When Laura tapped him on the back and he turned around, he had this look of amazement and wonder on his face! It was so cute & so obvious how much these two love each other! Their bridal portraits were stunning (I know I’m biased) and I could not get over how beautiful the grounds of the Cleveland Museum of Art were! Before their wedding ceremony at Windows on the River, Laura’s son snuck under her veil to give her a kiss before she walked down the aisle and it may have been the sweetest moment of the day! There was so much love in the room as they said I do and that continued into the speeches at dinner. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room by the time the toasts were done. Laura and Daniel, thank you for trusting me to photograph your big day, welcoming me in with open arms and being the sweetest people ever! Much love!!! xo, Jen
Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!
