I first met Maureen at a Jonas Brothers meet & greet (seriously, lol) when she was in line behind me. I turned around and asked her to take a photo of me with them & we became Facebook friends after. I was so excited a few months ago when she reached out to me about photographing her & Josh’s Dearborn Inn wedding next June! We met up last week on Belle Isle to take their engagement photos. As soon as I saw her & gave her a hug, I joked that I almost wore a Jonas Brothers shirt for the session and she said she had been looking for something JB related to bring to the session as well! :p We started at the Belle Isle James Scott Memorial Fountain and then headed over to the Detroit Yacht Club to end the session on the water. I love sailboats and sailing and I’ve always wanted to learn how to sail one, so I never turn down a chance to take photos surrounded by them! We even had a special visitor pop out of a cabin and come say hi (scroll down to see who)!! One of my favorite photos is them walking along the dock with the Detroit skyline in the background. I had a blast with these two and I just LOVE how their Detroit Yacht Club engagement photos turned out!! The countdown is on to June & their Dearborn Inn wedding!
