Five years looks good on these two!! From a fateful meeting one night out in Royal Oak, to playing Survivor together, celebrating five years of marriage after a beautiful Colony Club wedding and now a baby on the way (you have to follow their surrogacy journey on Jaclyn’s Instagram), there’s lots to toast about!! When Jaclyn asked my thoughts about her and Jon wearing their wedding attire again for their fifth anniversary session (including her stunning Pnina Tornai silk & lace gown from the storied Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City… she was even on Say Yes to the Dress!!) I couldn’t say yes fast enough!! I thought it was such a fun and unique way to relive their wedding day! Plus who doesn’t want an excuse to re-wear their wedding dress?! We met up at the Colony Club (one of my favorite wedding venues in Detroit) where they celebrated their wedding day 5 years ago & then wandered around Detroit capturing their love! & you can’t miss the epic rooftop champagne pop! 2020 has been the year of the champagne pop for Jennifer Boris photography couples and I LOVE it!! These two are so much fun and a blast to be around & I’m so happy I got to capture this amazing milestone in their marriage for them!
