It was a love of dance that brought Chrystina & Jin together. They first met while studying at the University of Michigan when they both decided to join the ballroom dancing team!! They bonded over their love of dancing and fell in love twirling around the dance floor. It was only fitting that on their wedding day, they honored this with a choreographed ballroom dance for their first dance much to the delight of their family and friends!
Chrystina and Jin were married two weeks ago at a timeless Lovett Hall wedding and it was such a classic and elegant affair from start to finish! Chrystina was s such a joyful bride and from the moment I walked into her room at the Dearborn Inn to begin photographing the day, I could see just how excited she was to marry Jin. Jin was the epitome of a classic and timeless groom. From his stunning black tuxedo, to his initial engraved in his old-fashioned glass, to the calm and collected way in which he carried himself.
One of my favorite moments of their entire Lovett Hall wedding was their First Look on the light blue staircase at The Henry Ford under the most beautiful chandelier. It was such a tender moment between them and the photographs we took on the stairs and in the stairwell are some of my all-time favorites! There are so many great historic architectural elements inside the Henry Ford & Lovett Hall and it’s my favorite classic and timeless wedding venue in the Detroit area. After we finished the first look and bridal party photos, these two declared their love to one another in front of their family and friends at Lovett Hall. Chrystina descended another beautiful staircase with her mom before walking down the aisle and that photo is another one of my favorites from the day.
Chrystina & Jin, thank you for welcoming me into your families for the day and allowing me to capture the start of your life together.
