Allison & Bryan threw a classic and timeless Townsend Hotel Wedding earlier this month! Having their wedding at the Townsend was signifiant for Allison because her sister who she is super close to was also married at the Townsend a few years ago!! The day started out in their gorgeous presidential suite where Allison & her bridesmaids got their hair and make-up done. Allison’s sister helped her into her fitted lace dress and fluffed her veil before her dad snuck into the suite for a first look with his daughter. As soon as he saw Allison, he started crying and it was just such a sweet moment between them. However, one of my absolute favorite moments of the day was the reaction of Allison’s bridesmaids and two grandmas who were waiting on the other side of the suite’s bedroom doors to see Allison in her dress for the first time! They look so excited and that’s one of my favorite photos of the day too!!
Allison’s dad walked her down the long aisle at St. Hugo of the Hills where Bryan was waiting for her at the alter. After a beautiful ceremony where they promised each other forever, everyone headed over to the Townsend for cocktail hour & the reception. Allison & Bryan had an awesome band and as soon as they were announced in they had their first dance & then had a mini dance party before everyone sat down for speeches and dinner. Allison’s dad gave a sweet speech where he handed off the photo of Allison as a little girl he kept in his wallet to Bryan to keep in his and Bryan’s brother gave a hilarious speech that had everyone in the room laughing. Allison’s sister gave the newlyweds a fun gift to end her speech – she ran into Tom Izzo one night at dinner in Los Angeles and asked him to write a little note to the bride & groom (who are Spartan alums) congratulating them that she had framed!! After dinner, the band got the dance floor going again and everyone danced the night away!
Allison & Bryan, it has been a joy getting to know you both! I hope you love & cherish these beautiful images from your wedding day for decades to come. Wishing you lots of happiness together! Much love, Jen. xx
