Lani & Jason were married late last month in an intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by their immediate family. They were originally supposed to throw one heck of a party at the Shinola Hotel following a ceremony in their conservatoryesque Birdy Room, but COVID forced them to pivot and change venues in order to still get married on their original wedding date.

Isabella & Jack’s private estate wedding just outside of Detroit was my first full day wedding back after COVID shut down events earlier this year. These two were originally planning a Detroit Athletic Club wedding and after postponing to next May, they decided instead of waiting to pivot again and move the reception outdoors at Isabella’s parents estate and get married on their original wedding date.

I’m so excited to share this wedding with you all because Mandy is one of my college friends from University of Michigan and I was so excited last year when she asked me if I would be willing to capture her & Andrew’s wedding day!!

Julia & Jacob had to postpone their June Henry Ford Museum wedding due to the pandemic, but asked me to still photograph their intimate ceremony on their original wedding date! They chose a beautiful outdoor spot at Fox Hills in Plymouth to hold the ceremony and even though the forecast was threatening rain, it held off long enough for them to say I do!!

Jenny & Mitch were married on a Thursday evening a few weeks ago on a beautiful  rooftop in Detroit surrounded by their immediate families! Jenny’s father walked her down the aisle to a waiting Mitch and after they exchanged their vows and rings, they were pronounced husband and wife!

Melynda & Michael’s Chicago New Year’s Eve wedding marked my last wedding of 2019 and what a one it was to end on!! I had never photographed a NYE wedding before theirs & now I cannot wait for the wedding I have this year on NYE!!
