I met up with Calsey & Ken recently for their Detroit Engagement Photos at the Detroit Institute of Arts!! We started in the beautiful Diego Rivera Courtyard, probably one of my favorite indoor spots in Detroit! You can’t beat the murals in this space, the natural light & the beautiful architecture!!

I met up with Kim & Steve recently for their engagement session in downtown Northville, the same place where Steve proposed a few months prior!! Kim is my cousin/friend/go to travel partner and I was so excited to capture her & Steve in front of my camera!!!

Mary & Matt are celebrating their one year anniversary this month & I was so excited when Mary reached out to me and asked me to continue capturing their journey as husband and wife with first anniversary photos!! It’s always so special when I get to stay a part of my couples lives after the wedding day, whether through anniversary photos, maternity photos, family photos, or even becoming friends and hanging out with them.

Ashley & Ross first met in high school! However, it wasn’t until after high school that they reconnected and began to date. Four years later on a trip to Hawaii, Ross got down on one knee and asked Ashley to be his wife!

Nick & Amanda met one summer on the lake in Amanda’s hometown.  She knew most of the people who lived there and when she saw Nick’s unfamiliar face, she walked the sandbar over & said hi! She invited him & his friends to come hang out with her and her friends and by the end of the night, they had exchanged numbers!

Megan & Tommy met in high school, but it wasn’t until about 5 years ago that they reconnected and their love story began! This past Summer they were vacationing in the Canadian Rockies (which have the most amazing mountain views I’ve ever seen, btw, so if you haven’t gone, GO!!!
