Last year was one for the books!! 2017 was by far my best year yet for my business! It was my first full year of running my business full-time, instead of during lunch breaks, after work & on Sundays. It was amazing and fun and also, a ton of hard work. I had every intention of getting my “Best of 2017” series up during the week between Christmas & New Year’s, but I was just. so. exhausted! October & November were pretty crazy months with multiple Fall engagement sessions a week plus meetings & weddings and I didn’t prioritize taking days off for myself to rest & relax. I was trying to wrap up everything by Dec.1 so I could take the entire month of December off, but in actuality, I ended up working 10-12 hour days almost every day up until the 23rd when I finally finished up everything. I headed over to stay at my family’s for a few days over Christmas & ended up staying for almost two weeks. I was just exhausted and needed some serious couch time catching up on tv shows, watching ALL the Hallmark Christmas movies and reading lots of books to decompress. When I went back home, I spent another week doing a deep dive of my business & figuring out goals & where I wanted to go in 2018. I’ve been working on a lot behind the scenes for 2018 & I can’t wait to see what this year holds!!!
