There is nothing I enjoy more than live music (you can see my concert photography here). I’ve always loved going to concerts, but living in Southern California for 4 years took it to the next level. Every major act came through, some even playing multiple nights, and there were also lots of big artists playing free events around town. The best part was that if one of my favorite bands was in town, I could see them not only in Los Angeles, but also in Orange County & San Diego since they were all within driving distance. I’ve seen a handful of my favorite bands 20+ times. Crazy music lover over here! Anyways, last Summer I photographed 5 Seconds of Summer at Ford Field in Detroit when they came through town on the One Direction tour! They are a super fun Aussie pop punk band and their live show was packed with energy. If you haven’t heard of them before, check out their music video for their super catchy song, “She Looks So Perfect.” It’s one of the funniest music videos I’ve ever seen!
