Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

I met up with Margaux & James a few weeks ago to capture their Chicago engagement photos! These two call Lincoln Park home & it was fun getting to explore their neighborhood with them! We started at the bridge over the South Pond and got some beautiful shots of them with the city sparkling in the back.
Alex & Danny’s engagement session is next up on the blog & I’m so excited to share their images with all of you! Alex & Danny were my first couple to book for 2021 last October and I’m so excited I was able to capture their engagement session this October & will be capturing their Planterra wedding next October!
Kathryn & Ricky are just about the sweetest couple ever & I so enjoyed my evening spent with them photographing their engagement session! I was unfortunately already booked on their wedding date when Kathryn reached out, but they still had me come out to Grand Rapids to capture their engagement photos for them.
Megan & Tommy moved their big wedding reception to next year but were still so excited to get married on their original wedding date last month surrounded by their closest family & friends!! The morning started for both of them at the Atheneum Hotel downtown!
Five years looks good on these two!! From a fateful meeting one night out in Royal Oak, to playing Survivor together, celebrating five years of marriage after a beautiful Colony Club wedding and now a baby on the way (you have to follow their surrogacy journey on Jaclyn’s Instagram), there’s lots to toast about!!
Sara & Mitchell got engaged in Cancun, Mexico in May of 2018 and shortly after were the first couple to book me for 2020! Unbeknownst to me at the time, I was actually photographing a destination wedding in Mexico at that very same resort on the day they got engaged & Sara recognized me from following me on Instagram!!
