Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

I flew out to New York earlier this month for Nicole & Joe’s New York City engagement session!! Nicole and Joe are getting married in the city in a little over two months and I’m so excited to get these two in front of my camera again at their Bowery Hotel wedding on the Lower East Side.
Sam and Justin were married a little over a week ago in the beautiful conservatory at Downtown Market Grand Rapids. If there was one word to describe their wedding day it would be emotional. It was one of the most beautiful and emotional wedding ceremonies I’ve ever been apart of.
Soco & CJ’s Art Institute of Chicago engagement session is one of my new favorites! The architecture at Art Institute of Chicago is just unreal! I was in love with their grand staircase right in front of the European Art gallery and even though it was a bustling Wednesday afternoon when we met up there, it looks like we had the whole place to ourselves!
DeeDee & Gerald were married in the evening surround by all of their family and friends with the glow of golden candle light illuminating them. DeeDee & Gerald met at the University of Michigan, but now call Baltimore home, and most of their family and friends had traveled by plane to be there.
Is there really a better place for two Michigan alums to get married than the University of Michigan? I think not!! Joy & Tyler tied the knot recently and I was so excited to be there to document it all!
At their Chicago engagement session, Joy & I discovered just how much we have in common (we both went to Michigan at the same time, we were both political science majors, we both lived in Oxford freshman year, we both have Bichon Friese dogs, etc) and I was so excited to be able to hang out with these two again.
I don’t even know where to start with this wedding! I’ve known Kristina (or Krissy as I still call her ;)) since the 2nd grade when we attended the same catholic grade school. We quickly became best friends and were inseperable growing up.
