Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Anna & Derek met at the University of Michigan when they both ended up in the same art history class – the Visual Culture of Disney (how awesome does that class sound, btw). Derek was in grad school and Anna was finishing up her senior year at Michigan.
Coco Chanel once said, “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance,” and I don’t think anything could describe Jacqueline and Eric’s wedding day better if it tried! Jacqueline is the definition of classic elegance and from the moment I walked into her beautiful getting ready suite at the historic Pine Knob mansion, with all of it’s big windows and natural light, and laid my eyes on her timeless Maggie Sottero dress that looked like something straight out of Audrey Hepburn’s closet, I knew this was going to be one incredible day!
Jeff & Michelle had one of the most emotion filled weddings I’ve ever been apart of. When Michelle saw her dad for the first time as she was ascending down the stairs on her way to see Jeff for the first time, both of their eyes welled with tears.
Alyssa’s wine colored wrap dress was the perfect pop of color against the fall leaves at her and Tyler’s engagement session a few weeks ago. Fall is always a popular time for photos as the air gets crisper and the colors get prettier and I loved getting to hang with so many of my 2018 couples these past two months!
As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen millions of fleeting moments happen at weddings from behind my camera. Some are significant; some are not. One of my favorite moments from Kelly & Joe‘s wedding day was seeing Joe’s face as Kelly walked down the aisle!
When Taylor first emailed me about photographing her and Chad’s wedding, she wrote me the sweetest note saying, “Our love is a classic one,” and I couldn’t agree more. These two are the definition of classic elegance. I mean, look at Taylor’s dress!!
